The Comox Valley Regional District has extended the tender for construction of the new Regional Office, a 21,850 sq. ft. building consisting of office space as well as an area built to post-disaster standards to house a regional emergency operations centre, boardroom, archives and server room.

Newport Village has submitted development permit application for second five-storey building

Newport Village in Courtenay has submitted a development permit application for the second of three buildings. When complete, the project will have multiple commercial units and a total of 120 residential suites.

The Town of Comox has received application to subdivide property near Comox Valley Airport

The Town of Comox has received an application to subdivide a 24- acre property near the Comox Valley Airport into 2 parcels. The project is dependent on the North East Comox Stormwater Management Plan moving forward. When the application is approved it could be the future home to a variety of businesses.
