Jubilee Heights in Campbell River has received Preliminary Subdivision Review for Phase 1

Jubilee Heights in Campbell River has received Preliminary Subdivision Review for Phase 1. Phase 1 is expected to include approximately 30 single family lots and some multi-residential housing and site preparations are expected to start in early summer.

Powell River City Council has approved a new wastewater treatment

Powell River City Council has approved a new wastewater treatment plant. The project is considered the largest infrastructure project in the City’s history, at approximately $30 million. Once funding is in place, the project is expected to take 5 years to complete.

 New trades program at GP Vanier High School

GP Vanier High School in Courtenay has started a new trades program and is looking to place students on job sites for work experience.
