The City of Courtenay is requesting proposals from qualified Architectural Consultants for the preparation of conceptual design drawings, specifications and construction solicitation documents for building improvements to the Florence Filberg Centre. The tender closes on August 26.
AFC Construction was the low bidder for the tender issued for the construction of the Wagalus School Building in Port Hardy; three general contractors submitted bids. AFC have been issued a “Letter of Acceptance” and construction is expected to begin September 15, 2014.
A building permit has been issued during the past week in the amount of $500,000 for the renovation of the former Old Willows Pub in Campbell River. The owners are planning to convert the building into office space.
