Around Town: VIREB Commercial Business Awards announces recipients

Three Comox Valley projects received Awards of Excellence at the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board Commercial Business Awards on April 19.

Riverwalk Centre of Courtenay was a co-winner in the Mixed Use category at this year’s Vancouver Island Real Estate Board Commercial Business Awards.

Riverwalk Centre of Courtenay was a co-winner in the Mixed Use category. Highstreet Ventures Inc. is the developer and Traine Construction Ltd. is the builder.

The Twin Sail Buildings along the Comox Marina picked up two awards from the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB). The buildings received the Judge’s Choice Award and the Award of Excellence for Community Amenity. Twin Sails Buildings is owned by the Town of Comox, and Kinetic Construction Ltd. was the General Contractor.

Extreme Ends Salon and Spa received the Award of Excellence for the best retail renovation. La Casse Construction was the contractor for this project.

Congratulations to the winners! The Commercial Building Awards recognize outstanding workmanship and design in commercial buildings within the VIREB’s area – from the top of the Malahat to the northern tip of Vancouver Island).
