Around Town: North Island Hospital drop-in community information sessions

Whether you’re looking for information or have a question about the new North Island Hospital, Island Health welcomes all residents to attend drop-in community information sessions taking place on July 17 in the Comox Valley and July 19 in Campbell River.

Construction of the new Campbell River and Comox Valley hospitals is now complete. Learn more about the move to the new facilities at a drop-in information session July 17 and 19.

The drop-in sessions are an opportunity to learn more about the North Island Hospital Comox Valley and Campbell River campuses and their design, as well as information on planning for move-in, staff transition, hospital operations, volunteer resources, Aboriginal Health and the role of patient advisors.

Comox Valley community information session:

Monday, July 17 from 6 – 7:30 pm at the Florence Filberg Centre, Conference Hall (411 Anderton Avenue, Courtenay)

Campbell River community information session:

Wednesday, July 19 from 6 – 7:30 pm at the Maritime Heritage Centre, Rotary Hall (621 Island Highway, Campbell River)

Light refreshments will be provided by Thrifty Foods (Campbell River and Courtenay).
