Around Town: Cumberland Seeking Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee Volunteers

Are you interested in supporting and facilitating affordable housing in Cumberland? Would you like to give input on how the Village can accommodate individuals who are homeless or underhoused? Council is seeking volunteers for its Homelessness and Affordable Housing (HAH) Committee.

This Village of Cumberland is seeking volunteers for its Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee. Members meet once-a-month at least 10 months of the year.

The mandate of the Committee is to make recommendations to Council on homelessness and affordable housing, including a strategy to accommodate individuals who are homeless or living in unsafe or illegal housing.

Council is seeking one or more new volunteers for the Committee, which meets monthly at least ten times a year. Meetings are normally on the third Wednesday of the month at 9:00 am.
